Bréhat is connected regularly by ferry from the Pointe de l'Arcouest, 6km northwest of Paimpol, and served by summer buses from the gare SNCF there. Sailings, with Les Vedettes de Bréhat (tel 02.96.55.79.50, www.vedettesdebrehat.com), are roughly half-hourly in July & Aug, hourly between April and June and in September, and every two hours otherwise, with the first boat out to Bréhat at 8.30am in summer, and the last boat back at 7.45pm. The return trip costs €6.50 (bikes €8 extra). The same company also operates boats in summer from Erquy, Dahouët, Binic and St-Quay-Portrieux.

Bréhat's tourist office is in the main square in Le Bourg (April–June & Sept Mon–Sat 10am–1pm & 2.30–6pm, July & Aug daily 10am–6pm). All three of its hotels tend to be booked through the summer, and close for at least part of the winter. Both the Bellevue in Port-Clos (tel 02.96.20.00.05, www.hotel-bellevue-brehat.com; €70–85; closed mid-Nov to mid-Feb), and the Vieille Auberge, on your left as you enter Le Bourg (tel 02.96.20.00.24; €70–85; closed Dec to Easter), insist on demi-pension in high season. The smaller Aux Pêcheurs (tel 02.96.20.00.14; €40–55; closed Nov–March), on the main square in Le Bourg, has a nice little garden terrace. There's also a wonderful campsite in the woods high above the sea west of the port (tel 02.96.20.00.36; closed Oct–April).
