France for visitors

15e
France > Paris > Southern > 15e

Though it's the largest and most populous of them all, the 15e arrondissement falls off the agenda for most visitors as it lacks even a single important building or monument. In the southern corners, however, are two modern and attractive parks that are especially good for kids: the Parc André-Citroën, built over the old Citroën works, and the Parc Georges-Brassens, on the site of a former abattoir. Elsewhere in the 15e there are some pleasant areas to wander around, many with offbeat associations, such as the island Allée des Cygnes, and the artist colony known as La Ruche.

Pages in section ‘15e’: La Ruche, Riverbank, Parc André-Citroën, Quartier du Commerce, Parc Brassens.
