Disney Village and the hotels
France > Paris > Disneyland > Disney Village and the hotels

The Disney Village entertainment and restaurant complex, opposite the RER and train stations, is basically a street lined with expensive shops and restaurants. It's Frank O. Gehry's work, and looks like a circus-top tent that has had its top carried off by a bomb, with a pedestrian street driven through the middle of it. Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show, with real guns, horses, bulls and bison (nightly 6.30pm & 9.30pm; €50, children 3–11 €30), Billy Bob's Country Western Saloon, Hurricanes disco, the new multiplex cinema, Annette's Diner, Rock 'n' Roll America and a Planet Hollywood Restaurant await you, with live music on summer nights and various sideshows.

When you're nearing exhaustion from so much enchantment, you can return to your hotel and have a sauna, jacuzzi or whirlpool dip and be in bed in time to feel fresh and fit to meet Mickey and Minnie again over breakfast. In the hotel area of the resort, you can play golf, skate (in winter), sail (in summer) and jog on a special "health circuit". In reality, all these activities are secondary to the main attraction, and they're expensive.
