Northeast of Auteuil, the area around the old village of Passy, too, offers scope for a good meandering walk, from La Muette métro, through old characterful streets like rue de l'Annonciation, to Balzac's house, and through more cobbled streets to the Seine and Pont de Bir-Hakeim near Passy métro.
